You are present, O God, in all the close spaces of our lives.
You were present with the Chilean miners, as they lay buried for 69 days,
and you are present with them now as they continue to be resurrected into their lives—
present in their recovery, in their return, in their ongoing healing.
You are present, O God, in all the close spaces of our lives:
our own times of feeling trapped, near to death in body or spirit—
present as we crawl slowly back into your light and peace.
Bring new life to us, O God, in whatever close space we find ourselves:
living with addiction, entering new transitions of birth, or death, or the everyday.
Resurrect us again into your love. Amen
